The DirecTV-streamed cop drama The Trust (2016) begins, in the words of Variety, with “an opening sequence in which a prostitute bounces on top of Elijah Wood while he numbly stares at a mole on her ribcage.” Usually the mole is inside the police department–not the other way around–but considering this one lies just below the pert pink nipplage of artsy Alexandria Lee, Wood’s “dead-eyed look” of indifference “Rings” false. Good “Lord,” that Frodo is a dodo! After she gets off…and he doesn’t…Elijah hustles away while the call girl calmly brushes her teeth topless. We’ve heard of being “in different,” but don’t make it a hobbit! An acclaimed artist who won first prize in her debut show in 2009, Lee felt “I should just make myself do it {isn’t that precious, Baggins?}. And besides, if you don’t enter, you don’t win.” Truer words were nether spoken! Raved a reviewer of the art exhibit: “She will undoubtedly be hard to ignore if gauged by her early foray into the public arena”–though her cop co-star somehow managed to ignore his foray into her pubic one. She can do it all: a blackjack dealer who earned enough from tips in just a year to finance her art studies at UNLV, Lee is also expert at archery, swing dance, and most recently became the first female character to perform with the “in your face” Blue Man Group on the “Strip”–playing a robot named Showbot. “I see freedom as the elemental factor to all things good in life,” she says.
